Automatic hypertext for law firms and publishers

JustCite Link Studio provides organisations that produce documents containing references to legal materials an automated method of identifying and cross-linking those references to preferred information resources.

As a centralised tool for managers of the publishing process, JustCite Link Studio can be run over individual documents or large batches of material.

As JustCite Link Studio is run centrally, end users are simply presented with a document that gives them direct access to cited materials via familiar hypertext links, completely removing the need for time-consuming searches or interaction with any other software.

Destinations for the generated links are filtered through the JustCite legal reference index. This means that organisations utilising Link Studio can change link destinations within their documents at any time without having to reprocess those documents, while any alterations to hyperlink destinations are made centrally on JustCite.

JustCite Link Studio therefore protects you against future changes to third-party URLs, while allowing you to adjust your subscriptions to information resources without incurring expensive and time-consuming maintenance of internal databases.

With JustCite Link Studio, organisations can automatically link references from over 950 different legal resources from 88 different publishers and guide users directly to full-text and related information available on numerous online legal information services, including:

Technical Specification

A windows-based software tool, JustCite Link Studio can be run on an easy-to-navigate graphical user interface or via the command line.

It requires Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows Server 2003, alongside .NET Framework 3.5 (which Microsoft will prompt you to download from its site if it detects its absence). It is not compatible with Windows 9x, Windows Me or Windows 2000.

It can process on- or offline documents in a number of formats including Microsoft Word, HTML, XML and PDF. It can process single or multiple files simultaneously. And it can extract references in XML or CSV format.
