What is J-Link?

J-Link is a legal research tool that finds recognised legal references on any web page and automatically creates links to information in JustCite – all at the click of a button.

J-Link is a browser add-on for Internet Explorer 6 and 7. Download, install and off you go – it’s that easy and completely free!

In the future we plan to extend the range of functionality and the supported platforms, including the Firefox web browser.

We expect to release a version that is compatible with Athens later this year.

Why waste your time?

J-Link saves you laborious research time and provides you with access to the wealth of legal information available on JustCite. With over 425,000 cases indexed, including transcripts, unreported judgments and a full amendment trail for UK and EU legislation, JustCite enables faster decision-making on the value of precedents.

Uniquely, JustCite is provider-neutral, making it a valuable entry point to a wide range of highly-disparate information sources, including BAILII, Casetrack, Informa Law, Justis, LexisNexis, Westlaw and more. This enables direct linking to full text on multiple subscription sources.

Free version of JustCite

In addition to the fully-featured version of JustCite, there is a free version with a greatly-reduced set of features and metadata. At the end of your 14-day free trial of the full version of JustCite, you will still be able to use J-Link with the free version.
