I have a wide-ranging commercial and common law practice, with particular expertise in the following areas: • PROPERTY. Including commercial property, residential landlord and tenant, adverse possession, easements, restrictive covenants and boundary disputes. I regularly appear in the LVT in enfranchisement and service charge disputes. • COMMERCIAL DISPUTES. From small sale of goods issues to large IT and construction cases. • INSOLVENCY AND DEBT RECOVERY. Including winding up, bankruptcy, charging orders and third party debt orders. • GENERAL COMMON LAW. Including workplace, highway and road traffic accidents and credit hire claims. I appear for both Claimants and Defendants, and have a particular interest in HGV/Bus cases. I also appear at Inquests. I am experienced in ADR such as mediation. I am also engaged by the Treasury Solicitor on a regular basis to advise the Government on all aspects of fast and multi-track litigation against the Prisons and Courts Services. I spent six months as a Judicial Assistant to Lord Justice Mummery. I also spent time at the Bank of England assisting the Financial Markets Law Committee.
