Now that you have installed JustCite Toolbar, you should be able to see the orange JustCite Toolbar button in your browser:
JustCite Toolbar buttons in Windows XP and Windows Vista Help – I can’t see the JustCite Toolbar button To give you an idea of what JustCite Toolbar can do for you, here is a page containing references to several sorts of documents that can be converted into links to information in JustCite. Click the orange button in your browser, and watch while JustCite Toolbar counts the references that it has found and converts them into green, double-underlined links to JustCite. JustCite Toolbar will also open a panel in our browser where it lists all of the references that it has found. You can print or export this list. You can also click a reference in the list to view its JustCite data within your browser – no need to open JustCite. Case reportsJustCite Toolbar can recognise references to published case reports such as [1999] 3 W.L.R. 1301 and [1996] 2 All England Law Reports 210. It can recognise references with or without punctuation, and with full names or abbreviations. It can also recognise neutral citations like [2003] EWHC 1830 (QB) and [2001] UKPC 30. LegislationJustCite Toolbar can recognise references to Acts and Statutory Instruments by their names, for example the Nationality Immigration and Asylum Act, 2002 and the Registration of Births and Deaths Regulations 1987. It can also recognise legislation by numbers such as 1989 c.41 sch.8 and S.I. 1995/3123. European Union documentsJustCite Toolbar can recognise references to European Union documents by their numbers, for example COM/2005/560, or Council Common Position 2003/444/CFSP, or Case C-361/2001, or Commission Decision 391/96/EC, or Directive 97/8/EC, or Council Regulation (EC) No. 2027/97, or Article 5 EEC. It can also recognise the most important documents by their names, for example Schengen Acquis, or Overseas Association Decision, or Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive, or Airspace Regulation. Journal articlesJustCite Toolbar can recognise references to articles in legal journals, for example [2006] Counsel (April) 32. Existing linksJustCite Toolbar normally ignores references that are already links, such as R v. Dudley and Stephens [1884] 14 QBD 273 DC, but you can change this behaviour on the Advanced tab of the Options dialog box. References that are already links are listed in the panel, but without a green arrow for locating them.
